Those who leave often face extreme vulnerability and legal limbo abroad, while those who stay contend with a lack of support that stifles their talent and drives juvenile delinquency.

This crisis impacts both the migrants in distress and the host nations enduring the influx. However, the solution lies within the continent itself: Africa is rich in resources and fully capable of sustaining its people.

Instead of meeting these individuals with hostility, we must confront the gravity of this situation. We cannot turn a blind eye. It is vital to stop the cycle of desperate migration by actively building the local support systems, training programs, and economic opportunities that allow Africa’s next generation to thrive safely at home.
